Alphabets made of Objects

Google Maps Alphabet

The first Google Maps alphabet, featuring all 26 letters, has been created from satellite images of natural features and buildings by Rhett Dashwood, a graphic designer from Australia. 


Food Alphabet

From Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the artist Luiza Prado created an alternative and eatable alphabet. Have a nice lunch!

Cool yet disgusting, a hairy alphabet made by Craig Ward. 


Truck Alphabet

Hamburger Alphabet

Robert Bolesta invented an entire alphabet made out of raw hamburger. He hand-shaped, packaged, and photographed each one individually, creating this unique alphabet. (Source)

A found alphabet made from shoestrings draped into a cursive pattern by Mark Notermann. 


Butterfly Wings' Alphabet

This original and ecological Alphabet was made of butterfly wings' photos. 


Halo Corpse Alphabet

The Halo Corpse Alphabet is a rather macabre project with the goal being to represent every letter of the alphabet by the twisted, curved, stretched, and otherwise dead Spartan and Elite bodies from Halo 3. The Halo community was clearly up for the challenge as they miraculously managed to capture every single letter, number, and even some punctuation in the form of screenshots.
